  • What happens if the federal rebate doesn’t go ahead?
    This offer is conditional on the Federal Battery Rebate being introduced. If the rebate does not proceed, customers will have secured their battery system at a discounted rate, but no additional rebate will apply post-commissioning.
  • When does the rebate start, and does it decrease over time?
    The program begins 1 July 2025 and runs until 30 June 2030. The rebate amount gradually reduces each year to reflect declining battery costs. By 2030, the per-kWh subsidy will be approximately half of the starting rate.
  • Can off-grid systems still qualify for the rebate?
    Yes. While the rebate focuses on grid-connected setups, off-grid or standalone battery systems can still qualify provided they meet SRES connection and installation standards.
